And so it begins...

A new year has begun and now I'm making my first post alongside a resolution. Until now my writing has been on kind of sloppy. A new piece would appear out of the blue and sometimes it would be weeks or months before I took hold of a pencil or sat down at the pc to write something. Now, that's about to change even thought it's not broke. But I'm still gonna fix it.

Long open road and dreams of freedom

Silly notions that are left behind

But that haunt the Mind's Kingdom

And seem to us to be such a find

Yet things are not just what they seem

There are shadows lurking in a dream

There are writers, not just another dwem

And what moves them wants to scream.

A shout of liberation to be unleashed,

A creed of values to be written,

On a monolith Time wills it carved

For every soul to know what has risen.

None will forget of Albion and legends;

Since stories resonate inside the heart

And urge the soul to urge the hands,

To urge them to create their work of Art.

Silly notions and ancient times are lost

But lost only where the Soul is barren

When its art is lost within its lust

Such souls are dead as what has been

Dreams of freedom push the soul forth

On the open roads of uncharted life

Where imagination can reforge the path

And Soul and Story know no strife.

Such paths are ones Souls crave for,

To wield their powers of creation

And vanquish Routine, the tormentor,

To let loose their wild imagination.

This is the start of a new trend. A trend that shall hopefully last for as long as I’ll be around to bore and cheer folk with my scribblings. Read you around! :)
